About Us
After years of working with bigger systems and healthcare organizations, Dr. Radhika Vayani decided to create Be Well Primary Care to serve patients with Compassion, Care, and Excellence. We were formed in November 2017, to ensure that each patient’s health is the top priority – focusing on prevention and healthy lifestyles.
At Be Well Primary Care, our goal is to provide a complete, end-to-end healthcare experience. We believe in partnering with specialists and facilities that have similar philosophies and can provide similar care and patient experience.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of our Patients by providing comprehensive Primary Care with the earliest possible prevention and detection of diseases.
We are here for everyone who requires our expertise.
Be Well Primary Care primarily serves patients 16 years old and above. However, we would like to emphasize that we do not discriminate against gender, sexual orientation, race, color, ethnic background, religion, marital status, disability, or social status.

About Be Well
Why should I choose Be Well Primary Care?
Be Well Primary Care focuses on quality of life, prevention, and early detection, not just getting your lab values into range. We combine evidence-based medicine with services such as Elite Physicals, IV therapy, hormone therapy, weight management, allergy services, supplements, and Remote Patient Monitoring when appropriate.
Our philosophy is simple: prevent what we can, detect problems early, and help patients live their best possible lives.
Is Be Well Primary Care physician-owned?
Yes, Be Well Primary Care is an independent, physician-owned North Texas primary care practice focused on comprehensive, patient-centered care.
What ages does Be Well Primary Care see?
Be Well Primary Care sees patients age 16 and older at all seven locations, including older teenagers, adults, and seniors.
Is Be Well holistic, functional, or integrative medicine?
Be Well Primary Care is a comprehensive, evidence-based primary care practice, not a holistic, functional, or integrative medicine clinic, though we share some of those philosophies. We combine mainstream, evidence-based medicine with additional approaches that may improve health and quality of life, including IV therapy, hormone therapy, supplements, and other medically appropriate options.
What is the difference between primary care and urgent care?
Primary care is ongoing, relationship-based care from a provider who knows your health history, focused on prevention, chronic disease management, and most sick visits. Urgent care is designed for one-time, acute problems, such as a same-day illness or minor injury, typically when you cannot get in to see your regular primary care provider. Be Well provides primary care with same-day and next-day sick-visit availability in most cases, which covers many of the same needs urgent care does without losing the continuity of a primary care relationship.
Should I see my Be Well provider, go to urgent care, or go to the ER?
See your Be Well provider for ongoing care, chronic conditions, preventive visits, and most sick visits, such as colds, flu, sinus infections, or minor injuries, since Be Well often has same-day or next-day availability. Consider urgent care only if Be Well cannot see you in the time you need and your condition cannot wait. Go to the emergency room or call 911 for a medical emergency, such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, or any other life-threatening condition.
Appointments & Locations
Is Be Well Primary Care accepting new patients?
Yes, Be Well Primary Care is accepting new patients at our North Texas locations for preventive care, chronic disease management, sick visits, and other primary care needs.
Where are Be Well Primary Care's locations, and can I visit any location?
Be Well has seven North Texas locations: Alliance / North Fort Worth, Argyle, Azle, Bridgeport, Denton, Keller, and Saginaw. Patients can generally visit another Be Well location or see another Be Well provider when needed, giving you more options when your regular provider or location is unavailable.
Does Be Well offer same-day or next-day appointments?
In most cases, yes, Be Well can offer same-day or next-day appointments. With seven locations and more than 20 providers, Be Well often has same-day or next-day options available, especially for sick visits. If your regular provider is full, we can often find availability with another Be Well provider or location.
Does Be Well Primary Care accept walk-in patients?
Be Well Primary Care generally sees patients by appointment rather than as walk-ins, which helps keep wait times down and match you with the right provider. Call your nearest Be Well location or request an appointment online, and our team will often find a same-day or next-day opening, especially for sick visits.
Does Be Well offer virtual visits or telehealth appointments?
Be Well generally provides care in person rather than through virtual visits or telehealth appointments. We believe there is value in physically evaluating patients, especially when symptoms may require an exam, vital signs, or testing such as flu, COVID-19, or strep testing.
What should I bring to my first Be Well appointment?
Bring a photo ID, your current insurance card, a valid form of payment, your medication and supplement list, and relevant medical records to your first Be Well appointment. If you recently visited an ER or hospital, bring your discharge paperwork and hospital records if available.
Insurance & Billing
What insurance does Be Well Primary Care accept, and how do I verify my plan?
Be Well accepts many major commercial and Medicare insurance plans, including plans from BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Ambetter, Oscar, TRICARE, and others. Participation depends on your specific plan and network, not simply the insurance company. Contact Be Well and also verify your provider through your insurance company’s website or member-services number before your visit.
Does Be Well accept Medicare?
Yes, Be Well accepts Original Medicare and participates with a number of Medicare Advantage plans. Medicare Advantage networks vary, so verify your specific plan and Be Well provider before scheduling.
Does Be Well accept Medicaid or Marketplace/ACA insurance?
Be Well generally does not accept Medicaid and does not participate with every Marketplace/ACA plan. We do accept some Marketplace plans, including certain Ambetter products, but we do not accept Ambetter Value. Always verify your exact plan before scheduling.
What's the difference between an HMO and PPO?
An HMO generally requires you to select a primary care provider and may require PCP referrals for specialists, along with prior authorizations for certain medications, tests, or procedures. A PPO usually provides more flexibility to see specialists without a PCP referral, although network rules still apply.
What do I need to do before seeing Be Well with an HMO?
If you have an HMO, select an appropriate Be Well provider as your PCP with your insurance company before your appointment. Scheduling with Be Well does not automatically make us your designated PCP, and your plan may deny visits or referrals if the PCP assignment is not updated.
Can I call Be Well and ask for a specialist referral?
Generally no, you cannot request a specialist referral by phone alone. If Be Well has not evaluated you for the condition requiring the specialist, you will need an appointment first, since your provider must evaluate and document the medical reason for the referral. HMO patients also need an appointment when an existing specialist referral needs to be renewed.
Can I see Be Well without health insurance?
Yes, Be Well offers cash-pay pricing for all of our services, including office visits, labs, diagnostic testing, Elite Physical services, IV therapy, and other services. Cash-pay options may also be available if Be Well is out of network with your plan.
Why did I get a bill from Be Well if I have insurance?
Insurance does not always pay 100% of healthcare costs. Depending on your plan, you may owe a copay, deductible, coinsurance, or a fee for a non-covered service. Be Well bills you for that remaining patient responsibility after your insurance has processed the claim.
Why did my Be Well bill arrive months after my visit?
Insurance claims can take weeks or months to resolve, especially when the insurer requests additional records, denies the claim, or requires corrections or an appeal. Be Well works through the entire insurance process before billing you for any remaining patient responsibility, which is why a bill can arrive well after your appointment.
Why is the 'billed charge' on my insurance claim so high?
The billed charge on your claim is not necessarily what Be Well gets paid. In-network insurance companies have contracted rates that determine the allowed amount for covered services. Your insurer then determines how that allowed amount is divided between what insurance pays and what you owe.
Does Be Well offer payment plans or accept HSA cards?
Yes, Be Well can offer payment arrangements for qualifying patient balances, and we accept HSA cards for eligible healthcare expenses such as copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and other qualified medical costs.
Preventive Care & Elite Physicals
What happens during an annual preventive visit?
Your annual preventive visit focuses on prevention, health risks, recommended screenings, and your overall health. Your provider may review your medical and family history, medications, cardiovascular risk, cancer screening needs, vaccines, mental health, weight, lifestyle, and other preventive needs based on current best-practice guidelines.
Why can I receive a bill if my annual physical is supposed to be covered?
Preventive care and treatment of an active medical problem can be processed differently by insurance. If your provider also evaluates a new problem, manages a chronic condition, changes medication, or performs another separately billable service, your insurer may apply a copay, deductible, or coinsurance to that portion of the visit.
What is an Elite Physical at Be Well?
An Elite Physical is Be Well’s comprehensive approach to preventive care and early detection, going beyond a routine annual physical. Instead of relying mainly on routine blood work and a physical exam, Elite Physicals can evaluate multiple areas of health, including the heart, lungs, circulation, brain, liver, allergies, vascular health, and balance. The goal is to understand more of the patient’s health, establish useful baselines, and identify important findings earlier.
What tests are included in a Be Well Elite Physical?
Elite Physical testing may include EKG, spirometry, ANS/ABI testing, WAVi brain assessment, allergy testing, FibroScan, vascular ultrasound such as carotid, AAA and partial cardiac ultrasound, and balance testing for patients 65 and older. The exact testing performed depends on the patient and clinical needs.
How much does an Elite Physical cost at Be Well?
Elite Physical pricing depends on which testing and services are included for your visit and whether the visit is billed to insurance or paid cash-pay. Be Well offers cash-pay pricing for patients who prefer not to use insurance for Elite Physical services. Contact your nearest Be Well location for current Elite Physical pricing and package options.
Other Be Well Services
Does Be Well offer IV therapy?
Yes, Be Well offers medically directed IV therapy to established Be Well patients when recommended by a provider. Our IV program is not a walk-in drip bar: your provider evaluates your health, determines whether IV therapy is appropriate, and may recommend a series of treatments as part of your overall care plan.
What is Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)?
Remote Patient Monitoring allows Be Well to monitor important health information while you are at home. Depending on your condition, connected devices can transmit readings such as blood pressure, blood glucose, or weight so your care team can identify trends and manage chronic conditions between office visits.
How do I access my medical records or the Be Well patient portal?
Established Be Well patients can view test results, visit summaries, and secure messages, and request medical records, through the Be Well patient portal. Contact your Be Well location for help creating a portal account or requesting a copy of your medical records.
